I'm NOT a fan of anything that has vanilla as the top or middle note....just can't take it. HOWEVER, the ONLY vanilla I appreciate and enjoy is Chanceux's Vanilla Matrimony. Another fragrance that (for my nose) goes well for the Fall/Winter season as well as for the current Spring days in the East Coast that's been very Fall driven lately. Vanilla Matrimony is warm, sweet, and sensual due to the combination of sugar, cake, vanilla absolute, tonka bean, and more vanilla. I enjoy smelling the perfume on me due to the richness of Matrimony's notes. I ended up also purchasing Vanilla Matrimony Intense....which as the name indicates, is an intensified delectable version of the original. My Chanceux collection continues to grow more and more. I love this fragrance brand. 😌🙂↔️💛❤️

Escapade gourmand who?! All my vanilla girlies, you want a photorealistic vanilla cake with freshly whipped vanilla buttercream than look no further than Vanilla Matrimony! The sugar note is divine as well, it has an almost caramelized effect. You get warmth from the butter and the tonka. Just absolutely divine, my favorite sweet vanilla all year.
My only critique is that it does well to macerate for a couple weeks, it can lean more on the alcohol side if not macerated first.
